Murano art glass chandelier, produced by Ca’ D’Oro glass blowing factory. The chandelier features nine decorative millefiori mosaic glass shades with matching central column of tear shaped millefiori glass. From each of the glass shades hang crystal glass prisms which create rainbow light refractions. The clear glass arms are mounted in the solid lower half circle base with a matching millefiori mosaic glass cover. The lower fixing plate is marked ‘Art .894 Made in Italy.’ Sold by the factory in 2001 as a one-off exhibition piece.
The chandelier comes rewired with braided flex, chain a matching brass ceiling rose and a chandelier hook plate. Chandelier requires nine e14 lamps, these are not included.
This chandelier has been fully restored and rewired here, in Stockport, near Manchester by our small team of experts and is now ready to be installed. We recommend that this chandelier is installed by an electrician into a joist or a supporting noggin. To clean the chandelier dust the glass components regularly with a soft cloth. The glass shades and drops can then be wiped with a glass wipe or a cloth that has been sprayed with glass cleaner. A final wipe with a paper towel will give a polished finish.
