We restore, fix, clean and rewire antique lighting including lamps, wall lights, pendants and chandeliers to a very high standard fully compliant with the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations. Our workshop stocks thousands of spare parts for antique and vintage lights including a wide range of old crystal droppers, glass shades and lamp holders, as well as many different colours of braided flex. All our new parts are CE certified. We have undertaken lots of conversions of candelabras and gasoliers to electric use and can supply tapered candles if needed. Our team has restored many important antique lights over the years such as the Arts and Craft chandeliers at the Whitworth Art Gallery and wall lights for Elizabeth Gaskell’s House in Manchester.
Our restored antique lighting hangs in many wonderful homes such as Samuel Taylor Coleridge’s Highgate home later owned by JB Priestley. We are always very happy to give free quotes for fixing any type of lighting even if it’s new and will give a fixed quote before restoration. We also can help with any modern lighting project you may have including new lighting for commercial or domestic use.
