White and Graphite Cup
SOLD
This sculptural cup originates from Turkey. Made using a traditional Japanese pottery technique called Raku, each piece has textured surfaces and unpredictable patterns meaning that no two pieces are alike. This piece could be used as a coffee cup but should not be limited to that. It has a flat base and both the inner and outer are glazed white. The surface is punctuated with graphite crackles and speckles which result from the raku firing technique. This is a charming piece and only one is available.
