Multi-Coloured Teardrop Chandelier

This chandelier frame dates from circa 1920s France. Its semi-oxidised frame comprises layers of half moon bands from which the glass drops hang, creating a semi-spiral pattern when viewed from below. The teardrops are in aqua blue, deep blue, rich brown, yellow, bottle green, clear and amethyst and are of various ages. The central brass column is encased in a textured clear glass balustre from which stretches brown braiding and antique brass chain. This chandelier is a beautiful statement centrepiece and would be a superb addition to either a contemporary or period space.
