A stunning example of an antique French candelabra now electrified. The brass frame was originally silver gilt and retains an aged patina giving it a toned light brass colour. There are three arms to the upper tier and nine arms to the lower tier. The glass bobèche pans originally used to catch the wax have hand cut prism drops attached. The hand cut crystal swags link between the arms, tiers and the crown of the chandelier. Oversized crystal rosettes connect the handout flat leaf droppers. This has been fully restored and rewired. The tapered lamp holders are E10 fittings. This will be supplied with the existing E10 lamps and a couple spare.
This chandelier has been fully restored and rewired here, in Stockport, near Manchester by our small team of experts and is now ready to be installed. We recommend that this chandelier is installed by an electrician and into a joist or a supporting noggin. To clean the chandelier dust the brass components regularly with a soft cloth. The drops can then be wiped with a glass wipe or a cloth that has been sprayed with glass cleaner. A final wipe with a paper towel will give a polished finish.
