Art Deco School House Shades with Original Galleries
Four 1930s English polished glass school house shades with their original dark oxidised copper galleries. Galleries stamped ‘Made in England’. A perfect example of classic art deco style lighting. Their clean polished glass lines work equally well in contemporary spaces. They work great individually or in series. Each shade requires a single E27 lamp. The shades comes supplied with braided flex, chain and matching ceiling rose and a chandelier hook plate.
These shades have been fully wired here, in Stockport, near Manchester by our small team of experts and is now ready to be installed. We recommend that these are installed by an electrician into a joist or a supporting noggin. To clean the shades dust the brass chain and gallery regularly with a soft cloth. The glass shade can then be wiped with a glass wipe or a cloth that has been sprayed with glass cleaner. A final wipe with a paper towel will give a polished finish.
