Furniture Painting Workshop
£65.00 per person - 10% Discount on the day across the shop including the Annie Sloan range
Our workshops cover basic tips and advice on how to apply the paint and wax, achieving the best results. It is a hands-on class which allows you to get stuck into the use of different techniques to achieve the look of old painted furniture. There is no need to have any prior furniture painting experience and you don’t have to be in any way artistic to get great results.
We stock a full range of Chalk Paint™ in both 1 litre pots (£20 each) and 120ml tester pots (£6 each). We also stock the range of 500ml waxes (£10 each), 750ml pots of lacquer (£22), a full range of brushes and other accessories.
The workshop includes: 2 colour distressing, crackled paint effect, textured painting, use of clear, dark wax and coloured wax. The content may vary, if you are interested in a particular technique please state this on booking.
All materials will be provided on the day and there is no need to bring anything with you. We work on boards so you can take these home with you and apply your newly acquired skills to your furniture.
Freshly made coffee, pots of tea & cake provided.

Some testimonials from attendees.
Attended Chalk Paint workshop today, very important to have the ‘hands on’ experience. Lots of information on different techniques, was able to try these out to see what I liked and put into practice. Very informative, would definitely recommend to others. Highly enjoyable and great value for money. Excellent day! Carrie Bryan, Alderley Edge.
Learnt so much on the workshop today. Fabulous to experiment with so many techniques and Zoë was very flexible in her approach. Great value for money with plenty of tea, coffee, cake etc. Met some lovely people too, lots of fun! Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to learn about furniture painting. Stephanie Rouse, Cheadle.
I wanted to attend the workshop to learn what I was doing wrong at home and how to get it right. Really enjoyed the session and I learnt so much about different painting techniques and how to use the wax correctly. The tips and tricks learnt will be very useful now for painting at home. Really enjoyed the session! Carolyn Wallwork, Stockport.
