French Tent and Bag Chandelier with Outer Arms
Early 20th Century French tent and bag chandelier. This chandelier has elegant proportions. The brass frame has a beautiful patina which has been partially polished, shown especially in the moulded brass on the outer ring and the top crown brass leaf details. Glass icicle drops surround each outer lamp. The top tent and lower bag are formed from strings of glass buttons. There are six inner B15 lamps and six outer SES lamps. The chandelier is supplied with chain, braided flex, ceiling rose and chandelier hook plate.
This chandelier has been fully restored and rewired here, in Stockport, near Manchester by our small team of professionals and is now ready to be installed. We recommend that this chandelier is installed by an electrician into a joist or a supporting noggin. To clean the chandelier dust the brass regularly with a soft cloth. The glass can then be wiped with a glass cleaner wipe or a cloth that has been sprayed with glass cleaner. A final wipe with a paper towel will give a polished finish.
