SOLD
A French 1930’s brass and crystal chandelier with glass icicle droppers. A four branched cast brass chandelier with a naturally aged patina which has been delicately polished. The central stem has upper brass walking sticks each holding a glass button and glass icicle. Each branch holds two graduated cut crystal kite pendant droppers, attached with a glass rosette. The tapered bobéche pans have a studded brass edge which is reflected with the same design in the central baluster. The chandelier has for SES lamp holders which require E14 lamps. A stunning, unique piece which is also excellent quality.
This chandelier has been fully restored and rewired here, in Stockport, near Manchester by our small team of experts and is now ready to be installed. We recommend that this birdcage chandelier is installed by an electrician and into a joist or a supporting noggin. To clean the chandelier dust the metal components regularly with a soft cloth. The crystal drops can then be wiped with a glass wipe or a cloth that has been sprayed with glass cleaner. A final wipe with a paper towel will give a polished finish.
