This beautiful bowl originates from Turkey. Made using a traditional Japanese pottery technique called Raku, this bowl could be used in a variety of ways: drinking or eating bowls; soap dish; a display piece. The bowl sits on a shallow base and has a rich and vibrant red glazed inner. The outer is unglazed stone patched with graphite shadows and speckles. The use of the Raku technique results in unique textured surfaces and unpredictable patterns meaning that no two pieces are alike – they are works of art in their own right. There is one available.
