Raku Bowls
SOLD
These striking bowls originate from Turkey. Made using a traditional Japanese firing technique called Raku, these bowls could have a variety of uses. The majority of the surface has a glazed and textured finish which features hues of terracotta, grey, stone and gold. The use of the Raku technique results in unpredictable textures and patterns meaning that no two pieces are alike. In these examples there is a mixture of speckles, crackles, stripes and spots making them works of art in their own right. There are four available.
