Large Industrial Bank of Drawers
SOLD
This bank of drawers comes from a batik mill in Greater Manchester and has retained a characterful sense of history. Dating from the late 1800s and made from cedar and pitch pine, it is a sizeable and practical piece of storage. It was one of the original pieces to go into the factory and remained a valuable piece up until recently. Some of the original brass drawer handles are missing as are two drawers. The top has been sanded and waxed. Each drawer has been washed and waxed. It would suit a large space, potentially a bar/ restaurant or large country dwelling. It is a fabulous piece of northern industrial history.
