Dusky Pink and Graphite Bowl
SOLD
This bowl originates from Turkey. Made using a traditional Japanese pottery technique called Raku, this bowl could be used in a variety of ways: eating bowl; soap dish; a display piece. The bowl sits on a base and has a dusky pink/ stone glazed inner, decorated with three graphite crescents and stars. The outer is unglazed graphite and dusky pink/ stone in colour. The use of the Raku technique results in unique textured surfaces and unpredictable patterns meaning that no two pieces are alike – they are works of art in their own right. There is one available.
