English Crystal Chandelier
SOLD
This regency style English crystal chandelier originates from the 1920s and is reminiscent of the chandelier designs by F&C Osler. Retaining all of it’s original crystal it is an elegant centre piece. A tent of swags made from crystal coffin lids and crystal buttons forms the central body of the chandelier. This links the top ring and the lower waterfall tiers of crystal prism droppers, from the top ring hangs cut crystal Prince Albert drops. A couple of the crystal drops have slight damage due to their age, please enquire for more information. There are three inner lamps and the chandelier comes supplied with braided flex and chain, a ceiling rose and a chandelier hook plate. Chandelier requires BC lamps, these are not included.
This chandelier has been fully restored and rewired here, in Stockport, near Manchester by our small team of experts and is now ready to be installed. We recommend that this English crystal chandelier is installed by an electrician into a joist or a supporting noggin. To clean the chandelier dust the metal components regularly with a soft cloth. The crystal drops can then be wiped with a glass wipe or a cloth that has been sprayed with glass cleaner. A final wipe with a paper towel will give a polished finish.
