Delicate Brass and Crystal Chandelier
SOLD
This brass and crystal chandelier originates from early 1900s France. The delicate tubular brass chandelier frame has a naturally oxidised patina and a cut glass base which will help to reflect the light. The frame has added brass curl details on the topsides of each arm and beneath the glass base, of four remain, one has been lost over time. A small ring of crystal icicle drops embellish the central stem each one suspended from two glass buttons. It holds five lamps above unusual crystal bobèche pans. The chandelier comes supplied with braided flex, chain, a ceiling rose and a chandelier hook plate. Chandelier requires SES lamps, these are not included.
This chandelier has been fully restored and rewired here, in Stockport, near Manchester by our small team of experts and is now ready to be installed. We recommend that this brass and crystal chandelier is installed by an electrician into a joist or a supporting noggin. To clean the chandelier dust the brass components regularly with a soft cloth. The crystal and glass can then be wiped with a glass wipe or a cloth that has been sprayed with glass cleaner. A final wipe with a paper towel will give a polished finish.
This chandelier is currently located at Phoenix on Golbourne Road, London.
